Thank you to everyone for the well wishes. *hugs back* I am feeling much better today. Still having really bad coughing fits, but at least its not every time I stand up. Also, hurray for hot milk with cocoa and cinnamon! (with the added bonus of producing a productive cough).

I'm sick. It sucks. Woke up Saturday morning.. thought I was having a bad allergy day (Awi still smoking in the house). As the day went on however, I just got worse. To add to my unhappiness.. I was at work. Moving on to Sunday: at work and sick. Monday.. sick and went home early.

I stayed home today! Making today the first time I've called in sick in years! I'm such a loyal work whore :(

So blankets, cough syrup, Kleenex and rest. Yup, thats the plan.

I must rant.

The Imakhu and Kai Imakhu of our faith have spent many years in dedicated service to God and the community. That means *you*! The least you can do is address them with the respect and courtesy due their positions. For goodness sake these people have worked hard and give up much to help you and bring the House to you. They have *earned* their titles. Frickin use them!

little rings, shiney rings, metal rings. Rings for chainmaille. After some recent gifties, I've fallen back in love with chainmaille. Not the big, heavy armor kind. (Well.. If that's what you want..) No, I'm talking 'bout the jewelry kind. Smaller rings = bracelets, necklaces and belts and other cool stuff. So there you have it.

26 1/2 hours, no cigarettes.

So I'm doing ok still. Alright, other than the tub of ice cream beside me. I did have to call my co-worker/best friend who was on vacation and inform her of the news. I also had to call one of my ex-coworkers who was very close with Dan. I was supposed to call another ex-coworker but I just can't tonight.. tomorrow! Candles and incense on Akhu and Wesir shrines. Prayers have been said.

Other than that.. it's Friday, I'm craving Coke (non corn syrupy kind) and I really wish my personal no-drama-zone had company. *shrug* "You can't always get what you want.."

I'm doing alright. Keeping it together. Staying strong and in control. Maybe it's my religious views of death that are helping me cope. Maybe it's just me. But I'm Ok. Tonight, at home, maybe not so much.

So I'm back at work. Not much to do (surprise!). Which means they kept up with all the work last week and didn't leave it all for me to do when I got back. So I have nothing to focus on and thus my poor brain wanders. Theres 4 people I miss terribly.

Much to do tonight. I have to put out new alter cloths and purify shrines and such. Need to create a new shrine, for Gods of the Year. After I go grocery shopping though.. food is important.
